As Twitter’s financial and share price performance fails to keep up with its rising position in culture and politics, prolific activist hedge fund Elliot Management is working with Twitter’s management to push for change.
Twitter’s part-time CEO Jack Dorsey is serving his second stint in the position after being pushed out in 2008 and returning in 2015. Dorsey recently announced a half year trip to Africa angering investors who are frustrated with the company’s lackluster performance under Dorsey.
