Amazon has issued $10B in corporate bonds despite having significant liquidity. The company secured interest rates as low as .4% on 3-year notes.

While companies like Boeing and Carnival have been adversely affected by the pandemic and were forced to issue debt, Amazon was not. The company benefited from stay at home orders and has seen a sharp spike in demand.
