Blackstone has announced that funds managed by Blackstone Energy Partners have completed the acquisition of North American battery energy storage company NRStor C&I.

The deal is in line with the trend of increasing energy storage news as countries, companies and individuals accelerate the adoption of renewable energies. Battery storage is a key component in increasing the reliability of these rapidly growing energy sources whose production varies greatly and unpredictability.
