NuCom has announced the purchase of The Meet Group, an owner of several social entertainment apps, for $500M including cash and debt.

NuCom is an e-commerce focused joint venture between ProSiebenSat.1 and General Atlantic. The Meet Groups freemium dating brands and video platform technology will be combined into NuCom’s portfolio of premium subscription dating brands.
