Ishan Panchal

Ishan Panchal is a Partner at The MergerSight Group at Monash University, where he is responsible for the recruitment of analysts for the local team and the oversight of M&A reports. He is currently pursuing a Double Degree in Commerce and Computer Science, interested in exploring how technology and finance converge to shape business strategy and market outcomes.

Alongside his academic pursuits, Ishan serves as Sponsorship Director at the Financial Management Association of Australia (FMAA) at Monash, where he manages corporate partnership outreach and relationship management. He previously held the role of Marketing Director, coordinated branding, communications, and engagement initiatives to strengthen the society’s presence on campus.

Ishan has a strong interest in financial markets, technology, and strategy. Outside of academics and finance, he is passionate about Formula 1, chess, and rebuilding cars.
