Martin Atkinson

Martin is the President of the MergerSight Group. He is in his final year of MEng Engineering Design at the University of Bristol.

Martin joined MergerSight as an analyst in October 2024, where he contributed to M&A reports, and became Head of Operations in February 2025, where he coordinated the publication of M&A reports.

Martin has previously completed business strategy internships in the aerospace industry with the Aerospace Technology Institute in London and the European Space Agency in Germany. Over the last summer, he completed an internship in BlackRock's Fundamental Equity team as an Investment Research Intern, rotating within the Europe and Real Estate & Infrastructure teams. Outside academics, Martin enjoys playing the piano and trumpet in jazz and brass bands.
