Mateo is The MergerSight Group's Partner at the University of Hong Kong; he is responsible for recruiting HKU analysts, as well as overseeing M&A reports. Mateo is currently studying International Business and Global Management.

Mateo has gained previous experiences with venture capital, investment management firms, and commercial banks across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines. Outside of finance, he enjoys Formula 1, Muay Thai, and travelling.
