Seungwon (Matt) Jung

Seungwon (Matt) Jung is The MergerSight Group’s Partner at the University of Hong Kong (HKU); he is responsible for the recruitment of analysts for the HKU branch, along with the oversight of M&A reports. After having grown up in Cuba, Matt is currently in his second year at HKU, double majoring in International Business and Finance.

Matt is an incoming analyst at Axial Partners Limited, a boutique SMA portfolio management firm based in Hong Kong. Throughout university, he’s also served as the head of financial affairs for the Business School’s international case society. In his free time, he enjoys playing football, traveling, and trail running.
