Travis (TJ) Law is an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University studying Computer Science and Financial Economics, originally from Guam and Hawaii. As the Partner and Founder of the Johns Hopkins Chapter of the MergerSight Group (re-founded), he spearheads analyst recruitment, drives chapter operations, and authors monthly M&A research reports. His academic work sits at the intersection of financial markets and digital infrastructure.
TJ is an incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America in New York City. He brings prior experience from Bain & Company as a Associate Consultant Intern, KPMG as an M&A Summer Analyst, as well as Hawaiian Airlines and Homebase (YC W21). Across these roles, he developed a strong appreciation for the rigor of high-quality research and the importance of staying current on M&A activity, both of which he looks forward to bringing to the MergerSight team.
Outside of academics, he is passionate about building genuine connections across both campus and professional settings. In his free time, he enjoys rowing, swimming, surfing, and supporting the New York Mets.
