Victor Paquet

Victor Paquet is the co-head of operations of The MergerSight group. Born and raised in Paris for 19 years, Victor decided to venture abroad after trying his luck in Medicine studies back in France. He studies at the University of Warwick in the BSc of International Management with Finance and currently spends the 2023/2024 year at the Bocconi University in Milan for an exchange.
Over 2022/2023, Victor was an analyst in the operations department and introduced the M&A Technicals posts while assisting the other two analysts in the creation of the M&A weekly posts. In the meantime, Victor was the head of Corporate Relations at the Warwick Business School Society where he hosted a panel event with former Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal and FIA President Jean Todt. After spending two consecutive summers as an intern at the french investment boutique NotSoLiquid (specialised in VC Secondaries transactions), Victor discovered a passion for entrepreneurial finance and VC.

Outside of his duties, Victor has been a passionate pianist for the past 10 years. Beyond his love for Chopin's etudes, preludes and nocturnes, he now seeks to diversify his portfolio and include the likes of Debussy and Rachmaninoff. Finally, Victor is a fellow "gym bro" who has been a vivid yet disappointed PSG fan since his birth while discovering his love for the NFL, a few years ago, in the form of the San Francisco 49ers.
